OVERVIEW
One-Tech (M) Sdn Bhd (OTSB) was founded in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on March 15, 1993. As a small furniture manufacturer, the company supplied wooden furniture to government schools and offices in and around the city.
Within a decade, One Tech began to specialise in premium customized wood products and interior design works for local government agencies, universities, private corporations and public listed companies.
Today, One Tech specializes in green furniture manufacturing as well as interior fit out and décor items. To tackle current environmental challenges, we understand the need to produce sustainable wood products and have spearheaded Malaysia’s green interior solutions since 2013.

Ridzuan Ismail, Founder & Managing Director
Ridzuan Ismail graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana State University, USA.
Prior to the establishment of One-Tech (M) Sdn Bhd, he served as a production engineer for the Malaysian Sheet Glass Berhad and as a general manager for a newspaper publishing company, Atom Enterprise Sdn Bhd.
In 2009, he was appointed President of the Bumiputra Furniture Manufacturer (PETRA).
He has also received numerous certifications for his corporate management expertise and is also a member of the Old PUTRA Association (OPA) and the Association for Overseas Technical Scholarship.
Huda Ikhwan, Co-founder & Director
Huda Ikhwan graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Finance) from Louisiana State University, USA. She also received an Award of Excellence from the English Language Institute (IELI) of the State University of New York, Buffalo, USA.
She is also an expert in Malaysia's capital market, having garnered more than 25 years of experience in the industry. Huda served as the President of the Bumiputera Remisier Association of Malaysia (PRIBUMI) from 1998 to 2012
and was instrumental in the establishment of the Bumiputera Dealer’s Representative Education Fund (BDREF) under the Securities Commission of Malaysia.
She is also an active member of economic non-governmental organization (NGO) movements.
Harith Ridzuan, Director
Harith Ridzuan graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Management Studies from the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom.
With more than 8 years of professional woodworking experience, Harith has played a vital role in transforming One Tech into a sustainable manufacturer of local-made furniture. Also known as "Harith Green Carpenter", or HGC, he has been dedicated in raising awareness among local communities on sustainable materials that are an alternative to new timber.
In 2015, he was recognised as Malaysia's No.1 woodcrafter and Top 10 Creative Young Men of Malaysia. He is a committee member of the Bumiputra Furniture Manufacturer (PETRA) and The National Association of Bumiputra furniture entrepreneurs (PUPUK). He is also a member of the Association of Malaysian Bumiputra Timber & Furniture Entrepreners (PEKA.

One Tech constantly strive towards excellence and is acknowledged through various certification awards, namely the 5S national awards received in 2003, 2004 and 2008. The company is also awarded with the international quality certification ISO9001:2000 in 2004, that later upgraded to quality certification ISO 9001:2008.
The company practices internationally-recognized safety and environmental standards and received the Occupational Safety Health & Environment (OSHE) certification in 2007.
In recognition of the company’s achievements, ONE-TECH has received numerous awards and selected as top competing companies. In 2011, the company was elected as one of 30 pioneering companies selected as a ‘The High Performing Bumiputera Company’ (TERAS). In 2012, the company was awarded the SME Corp Enterprise 50 (E50) Award. In 2015, One-Tech was among 50 companies selected under the ‘Best Exporter Program’ organised by both MATRADE and SME Bank.
In 2016, the company was recognised as one of the top 20 companies to receive the Malaysian Productivity Corporation (MPC) lean manufacturing award while its Managing Director, Puan Huda Ikhwan won the “Productivity Champion Award 2016”. In the same year, the company received an award by the Malaysian Timber Industry Board (MTIB) for its excellent business performance as well as its adoption of sustainable practices.
In early 2018, One-Tech was chosen as one of Top 5 entrepreneurs chosen to partake in SAY Aspire, Selangor Youth Community’s (SAY) business development programme led by His Royal Highness Raja Muda Selangor Tengku Amir Shah aimed at supporting local businesses to expand their global presence. The company also received the “BrandLaureate Bumiputera BestBrands Award 2017-2018” for its exceptional branding efforts for the furniture manufacturing industry.
